PAD NOTE "EASY"edition by Chou Yi

For their new collaboration product with Taisei Paperware Manufacturing's "PAD NOTE" in 2023, they asked Chou Yi, an illustrator based in Taiwan who is active around the world , to create the product. She has collaborated with many well-known companies in Japan, such as Apple, NIKE, and BEAMS. She also produces her own art books and is very active, exhibiting them at book fairs.

Chou Yi's illustrations are very impressive, with people drawn with bold, unique lines and forms. In particular, many women appear. She says that "freedom" is a consistent keyword in her work, and I feel a strong will to be liberated from the "image of women" from the perspective of traditional male society. Her work has many fans among Japanese singers and artists.

This time, PAD NOTE has created a new design with the theme of "EASY." It expresses the feeling of
relaxation when you touch paper, turn the pages, write down your diary or memo, and organize your thoughts even in the midst of busy days!

Along with the comfortable feel of this notebook, you'll also enjoy ChouYi's free-flowing and powerful illustrations!

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
