A collaborative project with the popular Paris store "DEJIMA"

At the TS STORE, they not only carry Taisei Shiki Seisakusho brand products, but their paper tool makers (that's what they call the people in charge of the Taisei Shiki brand) introduce and sell products that explore the possibilities of paper and fit into everyday life, based on relationships that have been developed through exhibitions and pop-ups both in Japan and abroad.

DEJIMA is a concept store that proposes new everyday items by bridging the gap between Japanese crafts and industrial technology and French artists. The two companies first met when Taisei Shiki Seisakusho exhibited at the first European exhibition, Maison & Objet, and felt an affinity for each other's activities and products, which led to the start of this project.

Four illustrators
DEJIMA has connections with many popular illustrators active in France. Taisei Shiki Seisakusho also collaborates with many illustrators in Japan and Asia through products such as POCHI-PON.
Because of this sympathy for art and illustration, they invited two illustrators from France and two from Japan to participate and create illustrations on the common theme of "family."

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
