The "kinmokusei" (sweet orange flower) carries the wind and tells the town that autumn is coming.

With the arrival of autumn, the "kinmokusei" (sweet orange flower) blooms in abundance. In the past, it was also called "senri-ko" (a flower with a thousand fragrances) because its scent is carried far away on the wind.

OSMANTHUS is an incense that not only has the scent of the kinmokusei flower itself, but also projects the image of the arrival of autumn onto it. The slightly powdery finish expresses the nostalgia you suddenly feel through the scent of kinmokusei in the cool autumn breeze.

Like an autumn evening that somehow evokes nostalgia, you will be enveloped in a comfortable sense of nostalgia and warmth.

Ikko Ichie collects rare natural fragrant woods and essential oils that are difficult to obtain in modern times, and continues to search for ways to express the scent itself created by nature in incense. They hope that 'encountering the real thing' will someday bring joy to someone.

By taking advantage of the goodness of natural materials, we create a gentle scent that you will never get tired of, even if you use it every day. Ikko Ichie's incense contains complex nuances deep within its gentleness, and shows different expressions depending on the day.

What makes our products so special

What’s in the box?

Our products are made with love and care in Japan, but it’s with you where their story lives on. And for that to happen, we need to make sure they arrive with you in one piece! We carefully wrap each item in bubble wrap and traditional Japanese newspapers (you’ll often find a Japanese crossword or sudoku to solve!). You’ll also receive a short guide on how to care for and cherish your new tableware. Sustainability is important to us and we’re working hard on ways to keep items safe while being kind to the planet, too.
